John Sumner Jr. founded RightAway Insurance in the year 2015. John has experience in the financial services industry working as both a financial advisor and a financial manager before opening Rightaway Insurance. John is a descendant of the Caribbean and believes in family first. John founded the agency after being told that he could not miss a day of work to attend his younger sister’s college graduation after giving his company the required two weeks’ advanced notice. needless to say, work-life balance is important to him. Believing strongly in financial literacy John is an advocate of full transparency and disclosure and will take the time to explain coverages and make sure that you are comfortable before moving forward with the process. You are not just paying an insurance premium when you are a client of Rightaway you are paying tuition and will have all of your questions answered in order to make an educated decision. John has a passion for learning, Music, and food and enjoys traveling or checking out some of the many delicious brunch places the DMV has to offer.
